David focuses on acquisitions and operational effectiveness of insurers and brokers, with particular emphasis on claims, reinsurance and commutations. He has assisted insurance businesses with financial restructuring, effectiveness reviews and run-off strategies. Past clients have included underwriters, brokers, underwriting pools and life companies. David is also one of the inventors of STRIPE®, a web-based platform that enables insurers and cedants to deal with their (re)insurers directly.

A former PwC partner in its Insurance Business Restructuring Services Group, David has specialised in the insurance and reinsurance industry since 1987. David was a founder of Tawa Group in 2001. Following Tawa’s acquisition of Pro in November 2009, David was appointed Chief Executive Officer. David is also COO and a Director of Tawa plc.

After qualifying as a chartered accountant with PwC in 1992, Simon has been involved in live and run-off account management for captives and European operations.

Simon managed the implementation of the first solvent pool scheme of arrangement in the London market and from 2003 to 2007 he was Managing Director of CNA’s European run off and consultancy arm, GRM. He has been actively involved in a number of Creditors Committees for insolvent insurance companies. 

Simon has been involved in a number of acquisition and restructuring projects for the Tawa Group.  Following Tawa’s acquisition of Pro in November 2009, Simon was appointed Chief Financial Officer.

Marvin’s experience centers on insurance regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters including eCommerce issues, insurance insolvency, reinsurance and insurance coverage disputes, licensing of companies and agents, surplus-lines regulation, captive insurers, and service contracts.

Specialising in insurance and reinsurance matters, Marvin previously worked for PwC and as an attorney with international law firm Chadbourne & Parke, LLP. Marvin joined Tawa in 2001 and currently serves as General Counsel for Tawa and its subsidiaries.  In 2010 he took the position of Head of the Group’s US Operations.

Marvin is a Member of the State Bar of California and received a J.D. cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1991.

Richard is the co-head of Pro’s Consulting arm with responsibility for Business Consulting. 

Richard specialises in operational and project management with a particular focus on business transformation and change. He has undertaken both short and long term projects for companies operating in the global insurance and reinsurance industry. Richard has over 25 years of industry experience in systems management and technical reinsurance. He is the account executive for one of Pro’s major clients, the Swiss Re Group.

Richard holds a Masters in Business Administration.

Jerry is the co-head of Pro’s Consulting arm with responsibility for Insurance Consulting, which undertakes specialist short and long term projects in both live and legacy markets.

Jerry has particular expertise of reinsurance collections, commutations, broking, schemes of arrangement, and financial and administrative support services.

With 25 years experience working in the (re) insurance industry, Jerry has been with Pro since its formation in 1993 and has managed several client teams in both technical and broker accounting functions.

Jerry is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt practitioner.

Richard works with clients to deliver a best-in-class outsourcing solution to the live and legacy markets. With 25 years experience working in the (re)insurance industry, Richard has been with Pro since its formation in 1993 and has led client management teams for the last 15 years.

Richard specialises in all aspects of insurance operational management, particularly with respect to complex pool arrangements. He played a leading role in the development and successful implementation of the WFUM Pools schemes. 

Richard is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Robert leads the Operational team at Pro, delivering effective and efficient solutions to live and legacy clients. 

With over 20 years experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Robert has specialised in major project management roles with emphasis on data integrity. He joined Pro in 1997 and has managed Pro’s IT & Communications team during the last 10 years.

With his insurance business knowledge, software development and project management background, Robert understands that having efficient processes in place is essential for the delivery of streamlined services to clients. 

Robert is a Prince2 practitioner.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), David entered the insurance industry in 1990 with English & American occupying various management positions.

As a member of Pro’s senior management team since its formation in 1993, he has specialised in client service management with particular focus on financial modelling, including structuring and pricing for finality solutions, traditional run-off and debt purchase. David has also provided management support for various schemes of arrangement.

David has overall responsibility for the marketing and provision of debt purchase solutions to external clients and plays a lead role in due diligence and contract negotiation processes. 

As Head of Human Resources for Pro, Patrick has responsibility for the development and implementation of Human Resource strategies within the company.

Patrick joined Pro in 2003 having previously worked in a variety of sectors within the field of Human Resources. He has over 20 years of experience in helping organisations develop people management projects and processes to support the business.

He has specialised in managing TUPE transfers, resourcing, redeployment, reward and integration projects within the servicing environment.

Patrick is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).

Mark joined the Tawa Group in May 2010, from a background in sales and sales management. 

Mark is a business improvement specialist and negotiator with a unique array of skills. His key responsibilities are to seek out new markets, achieve growth through leadership and coaching, and to reposition Pro as a market leader in home and international markets. He specialises in developing joint ventures, strategic alliances and co-branding.

A successful and qualified mediator/negotiator, Mark’s approaches are proven to overcome barriers to quickly resolve disputes. He has the ability to connect with people, build rapport and keep the “customer” front and centre, thanks to his wide experience in business and his time in the Army.  Following his career in the Army he held positions as a director of Neighbourhood Stores PLC (7-Eleven) and McLane Company in the UK (a division of Wal-Mart).

Pervin is Head of Marketing for Pro with responsibility for the company’s overall marketing plans. In addition to her marketing role, Pervin is an insurance consultant specialising in the technical aspects of long tail claims. Her particular expertise is on asbestos, health hazard and pollution (APH) claims, focusing on IBNR evaluations for reserving, settlement and commutation purposes. 

She has also undertaken due diligence and process reviews covering claims, operations and systems audits as well as reserve valuations. In addition, over the past 13 years, Pervin has been involved in a number of litigations, arbitrations and adjudications providing the back-up analysis and research required to support expert and factual witness testimonies.

Pervin has been employed in the insurance industry since 1989. Prior to joining Pro in 2007, Pervin was employed by KRA / Axiom.

Mark has a broad range of experience acquired over the last 20 years operating at a number of levels from a broad strategic view through to specific delivery.

Initially from a technical software background Mark has been able to adapt and develop the discipline of development and technical problem solving into a business environment having held a range of leadership roles in strategic, operational, consultancy and sales and marketing positions. Leadership has involved staff at all levels from trainee to director, with single teams through to large multi-national virtual teams based in the UK, Continental Europe, North-America and India.
